New updates due to COVID-19
Well life certainly did happen! Currently the Taos retreat will be held August 5-9th (fingers crossed!) as long as it is safe. New Mexico re-opens May 15th, so this will offer plenty of time to see the affects. July 1 will be the decision day if the retreat is a go or a no-go. Rest assured, full refunds will be provided if the trip is canceled or if you need to cancel.
August is a beautiful time of year out there and if everything is safe, it will be a welcomed trip!!
If you’re interested, I recommend reserving your spot with the deposit and hold off paying in full till July 1.
This little southwestern artsy town has captured the hearts of many and has become Jayme’s home away from home. Famous for its extraordinary natural beauty, local art scene, fantastic food, and laid-back vibe.
The retreat will include:
4 nights at the beautiful and quaint Casa Benavides Inn, just across the street from all the galleries, shops and restaurants of downtown Taos. Includes a scrumptious breakfast and afternoon tea!
On Thursday we’ll hike to William’s Lake (pictured above). It’s 4 miles round trip. The hike is not treacherous at all, but the elevation (about 11,500 ft) is challenging when you’re not used to it. Not to worry, we will take our time and enjoy the forest.
Friday you have the option to go SUP and hike to a natural hot springs on the Rio Grande or spend the day shopping and exploring the art galleries.
Saturday we’ll head to Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs and Spa for a day of soaking and relaxing. Ojo is one of the oldest natural health resorts in the country. The sulphur-free, geothermal mineral waters have flowed from a subterranean volcanic aquifer for thousands of years. Over 100,000 gallons per day come to the surface, revitalizing those who soak in the long-believed, healing waters.
Does not include: alcohol, air fare, massages.
Projected Itinerary: Plans may change according to weather, and we can adjust yoga class times according to what the group wants.
Wednesday Evening about 7PM welcome happy hour and dinner. Depending on everyone’s arrival time, we may have a short deep stretch class first to get out the travel kinks.

Cancellation Policy: Due to COVID-19 July 1 will be the deciding date if the retreat is a go or no-go. Full refunds will be issued if the trip is cancelled or if you need to cancel. If the trip is a go, but you need to cancel, you must cancel by 7/10 to receive a full refund.
HOW TO GET TO TAOS:
- Drive: It’s about 10.5 hours from Dallas and a lovely drive once you’re passed Amarillo.
- Taos Air – This is brand new for Taos and is SUPER awesome. They’re trying to operate through Summer, but last year they had to cancel the Summer business and issued refunds.
- Fly to Albuquerque, NM, and ride the shuttle. I will be picking up a 12 person van Wednesday afternoon at the airport, so if your flight lands by 3’ish you can ride with me.
- Fly to Santa Fe, NM and ride the shuttle, or I might be able to swing through Santa Fe and pick you up. Just please coordinate with me first.
